Jaehun Woo is a registered architect in Massachusetts and an educator based in San Luis Obispo, CA. Upon graduating from MIT, he practiced as a façade consultant at Front Inc. in New York.
Woo’s work investigates the logistics of building and architecture, reinterpreting the entangled nature of architectural practice from the origin of materials to the labor of individual workers on the building site.
He earned the AIA Henry Adams Medal and the Imre Halasz Thesis Prize during his Master of Architecture studies at MIT, following his Bachelor of Architecture from Yonsei University in Seoul.
His work has been featured in the Venice Biennale of Architecture, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, and more.
He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Architecture at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo.
